STRADALAN is a mineral-filled slurry, polymer-based slurry that can also be used in enclosed spaces.

Application Areas:

  • Visual adjustment of different asphalt surfaces
  • Bitumen mastic accumulation in depleted areas
  • Sealing fine cracks and open-pored/rough asphalt
  • Applicable on lightly to moderately used traffic areas – parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, bicycle paths

Requirements:

Contaminated asphalt surfaces must be cleaned with a high-pressure washer. The substrate must be dry and free from impurities. The surface temperature during application should be between +10°C and +30°C.

Application:

  1. Clean contaminated asphalt surfaces with a high-pressure washer and allow them to dry.
  2. Stir STRADALAN thoroughly with a drill mixer before application.
  3. Pour the slurry onto the surface in portions.
  4. Immediately spread with a suitable rubber squeegee …
  5. … and scrape sharply over the aggregate so that the asphalt structure remains visible. Max. dry layer thickness: approx. 0.5 mm.
  6. At warm temperatures, STRADALAN becomes walkable within a few hours and rain-resistant after 2 – 3 hours at the earliest.

Consumption:

Depending on the substrate…
Pore sealing: an average of approx. 0.8 kg/m² based on the total surface.
Sealing: an average of approx. 1.0 kg/m² based on the total surface.
